Founders Herb Walk 2021

This morning will be filled with herbal knowledge from two local experts, Doug Schmoll & Connie Karstens. Join us on the Lamb Shoppe farm to discover herbal wisdom about plant identification, medicinal herbs, wild edibles, and more. This year will mark the 24th annual Herb Walk. We will take a stroll through the herbal garden and the farm’s backyard to learn about wild plants and their uses!  

About Doug Schmoll: Doug Schmoll is the owner of Potpourri Health Foods in downtown Willmar, MN which has been in business for over 40 years. He has organized the Founders Herb Walk for over 20 years. 

About Connie Karstens: Connie Karstens is the owner and founder of the Lamb Shoppe & Wellness Center. She holds a BS in biology and an MS in health and nutrition education. She has studied herbalism for 20 years. In her practice, Connie offers wellness consultations incorporating herbs, whole foods nutrition, and other natural remedies.

• Bring your own picnic lunch for afterward and dine amongst the plants! Snacks & beverages are available for purchase at the farm Shoppe. 
• Feel free to bring blankets/lawn chairs for during/after the herb walk.
• Dress appropriately for the weather. No pets allowed. 

Registration starts at 9:30 am.  $5 per person at door or prepay online.
