About the event

We are happy to welcome Tina Young, author of Becoming Deeply Rooted In Your Faith, as a guest speaker at the Lamb Shoppe & Wellness Center. 

Join us on Saturday, July 25th from 10 am - 1 pm. Come and go anytime during this local author's book signing. 

  • Tina will read excerpts from her newly released book.
  • Enjoy herbal tea & coffee.
  • Books will be for sale (cash only).

Book Bio: Encountering God in a refreshing way that brings inspiring life to your faith and causes your roots in your faith to go deeper. Join me as we journey through the Bible, learning how to appy the Word. Discover who God is and what He says about us. Fall in love with the God, who loves us unconditional, and learn to love like He does. Learn to trust in the Holy Spirit and allow God to guide you into surrendering fully to His son, Jesus Christ, in order to become who He says you are. 

Author's Bio: Tina (Shoutz) Young grew up in the small community of Grove City, Minnesota with 5 sisters and 4 brothers. She graduated from Atwater Grove City High School in 1987. She also married John Young in 1987 and they had two boys named Kevin and Alex. They are now enjoying the empty nest season of life. In 2017, she studied to be a Joy Restoration Grief Coach with the Professional Christian Coaching and Counseling Academy. In 2018 she became a public speaker for Stonecroft, a Christian Women organization. She also works for Lutheran Social Services, supporting individuals with disabilities. Her hobbies are spending time with her husband John, motorcycling, taking trips, fishing, and playing games. They are also members of the Watkins Lions Club. Another passion John and Tina share is hosting exchange students from various countries. She enjoys reading, leading small group bible studies, teaching and sharing her passions for God with others. When she finds the time, Tina likes to paint and do craft projects. 

Life has had many ups and downs. But, through all of lifes events, Tina has learned to trust God, to celebrate His goodness and to love others as He loves her.
