Level 2 Home Herbalist 2025

This series is intended as the next level for the Home Herbalist series. In the first nine months of the program, you learned how to identify medicinal plants, when and how to collect them, and how to make a variety of herbal preparations. This is the first stage to becoming an herbalist because after the first nine months, you will have built an entire apothecary of safe, gentle, and effective herbal products.

The next phase comes in learning the proper use of these magnificent preparations you have created.

Just learning the foundational part of making herbal preparations can be a bit overwhelming. However, as you learn the ins and outs of the plant properties and how they relate to the body systems, you will build your confidence in the everyday use of local plants as medicine. This class will do just that – Give you the extra boost you need to be assured that you are using the plant medicines the way they were intended!

The 18-hour course is designed to complement your current background information that you have gained. You will learn specific herbs for the body systems, tongue and facial analysis, organ system emotional relationships, how to pick out specific herbs for an individual’s unique condition, and so much more. A basic understanding of anatomy and physiology is preferred. However, there are self-study videos provided. 

Certificate of Completion awarded.

Zoom video will be offered as a weather back up.
